Scheduling apps are a perfect addition to your social media toolkit. They create consistency and cohesion, so you don’t have to worry about doing it yourself.
But to build traction on your platforms, and to grow your following, you can’t expect your scheduler to post and ghost.
You need to be engaging with your audience 15 minutes before and 15 minutes after a post.
Set your alarm to 15 minutes before the time that the scheduler is due to post, and start engaging with your audience.
Algorithms on social media work for you when you when you work for them. So don't be lazy, spend some time nurturing your audience, so you are always fresh in their mind.
Also, don't sell anything to your audience in the engagement stages of your business. This is when building brand awareness is crucial, so leave your icky sales tactics at the door.
Lastly, this is a long game, so don't expect overnight miracles, and don't get disheartened when you don't get traction right away. After all, this is not a sprint, it's a marathon.
